Titans Still Believe In Will Levis As Their Starter

According to NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe, the Tennessee Titans still believe in quarterback Will Levis as their starter, and one of their top priorities this offseason is getting him receivers. It remains to be seen if general manager Ran Carthon drafts one of the top three wideouts -- Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, or Rome Odunze -- at No. 7 overall in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft. The Titans could also use an NFL-high $75 million-plus in salary cap space to go after a top veteran in free agency. They could also do both to help support Levis. The 24-year-old had an up-and-down first year in the NFL in 2023 with 1,808 passing yards, eight TDs and four picks in nine starts, but now he has an offensive-minded head coach in Brian Callahan and should get some shiny new receiving weapons to boost his fantasy upside this offseason.

Will Levis Inactive For Season Finale

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis (foot) is officially inactive for the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Levis missed Week 16 due to a sprained ankle but returned in last week's loss to the Houston Texans and injured his foot early in the contest. Even if Levis was able to play this weekend, the Titans decided earlier this week that veteran Ryan Tannehill would make the start under center at home in what is expected to be his final game with the organization. With the 24-year-old Levis out, Malik Willis will serve as Tannehill's backup to close out the year. Levis did enough in his rookie season to at least put himself in the competition to start in 2024, throwing for 1,808 yards on 255 pass attempts with eight touchdowns and four interceptions, but at best, he'll be a QB2 target in fantasy leagues this fall.

Will Levis Questionable For Week 18

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis (foot) remained limited during Friday's practice. He is officially questionable to play in Week 18, though head coach Mike Vrabel already announced that Ryan Tannehill will draw the start in what could be his final game as a Titan. If active, Levis will be the backup, keeping him off the fantasy football radar. Assuming he doesn't take a snap on Sunday, Levis will finish his rookie campaign having completed 58.4 percent of his passes for 1,808 yards, eight passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, and four interceptions.

Will Levis Returns To Limited Practice

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis (foot) was limited in Thursday's practice after being listed as a non-participant on Wednesday. Levis missed the Week 16 game with an ankle sprain, only to return in last week's loss to the Houston Texans while injuring his right foot early in the game. It's not an overly serious foot injury, so the 24-year-old is trying to get through it in practice this week in order to play in one more game in his rookie campaign. If the Titans play it safe and hold him out, veteran Ryan Tannehill will get the start in what is expected to be his final game in a Titans uniform. Neither QB will be particularly attractive from a DFS perspective if they play in Week 18 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Levis has shown more upside but has also been incredibly inconsistent with 1,808 passing yards, eight touchdowns and four interceptions in his nine starts.

Will Levis Doesn't Practice Wednesday

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis (ankle, foot) did not practice with the team on Wednesday. Levis returned in last week's loss to the Houston Texans after a one-game absence due to an ankle sprain, but he attempted just six passes in Week 17 before injuring his right foot and never returning. It's an annoying but not serious foot injury for Levis, but with the Titans already out of playoff contention, they could choose to play it safe and sit the rookie. If Levis isn't cleared to play, veteran Ryan Tannehill would make another start in what is expected to be his last game with the Titans. Whoever starts under center for Tennessee to close out the regular season will be an uninspiring QB2 choice for fantasy managers still playing for something in deep superflex leagues.

Titans Non-Committal On Will Levis' Status

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said he doesn't know whether rookie quarterback Will Levis (foot) will be able to practice on Wednesday. Levis tweaked his ankle in Week 15 and didn't play in Week 16, but he returned in last Sunday's loss to the Houston Texans only to make an early exit due to a foot ailment. The 24-year-old is improving, but if he isn't ready for the Week 18 game on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, veteran Ryan Tannehill would make another start under center. If the second-rounder from Kentucky does return to practice this week and play this weekend, he'll be a low-end QB2 option for fantasy managers still playing for something in superflex leagues. Levis has shown some glimpses of excellence in his first NFL season, but mostly he's been inconsistent in nine starts, completing 58.4% of his passes for 1,808 yards, eight touchdowns and four interceptions.

Will Levis Won't Return In Week 17

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis (foot) has been downgraded to out for the remainder of Week 17 versus the Houston Texans. He had initially been listed as questionable. The rookie signal-caller finishes Sunday's game having completed just two of six passes for 16 yards while also taking one sack and losing a fumble. It has been an injury-riddled year for Tennessee's quarterback room, which has seen Levis, Ryan Tannehill, and Malik Willis all attempt passes this year. Tannehill will take over as the Titans' quarterback for the rest of this week.

Will Levis Questionable To Return With A Foot Injury

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis (foot) is questionable to return to Sunday's Week 17 game against the Houston Texans. Levis was injured on a strip sack, which led to a Texans defensive touchdown during the second quarter, and was slow to get up. He went to the blue medical tent and eventually went to the locker room. Ryan Tannehill is currently in the game for the Titans. The team should provide another update on their rookie quarterback at halftime.

Will Levis Gets In Full Practice On Friday

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis (ankle) was able to get through another full practice session on Friday. This is great news as it appears the rookie quarterback is in line to start against the Houston Texans in Week 17. Levis sat out last week's game due to a nagging ankle issue, but that appears to be behind him. The Titans will be glad to have Levis back, but his fantasy outlook isn't too great for this week. Levis has looked sluggish lately and shouldn't be considered anything more than a low-end QB2 for this upcoming matchup.

Will Levis Expected To Start On Sunday

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis (ankle) is expected to start for the team in Week 17's contest versus the Texans on the road in Houston on Sunday. The writing was on the wall for this to be the case when Levis returned to a full practice on Wednesday after missing the Week 16 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The 24-year-old reportedly was moving around well in practice earlier this week, but he's also still dealing with some pain, so fantasy managers should expect some of his mobility to be limited when he takes on the Texans and their underrated defense this weekend. Levis has shown glimpses of being a solid franchise QB for the Titans in his first NFL season, but he's been far too inconsistent with limited receiving weapons to be trusted by fantasy managers as anything more than a low-end QB2. Veteran Ryan Tannehill will head back to the bench in Week 17.

Will Levis Gets In Another Full Practice

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis (ankle) was able to get through another full practice session on Thursday. The rookie quarterback is working his way back from an ankle injury that held him out of their last contest. The good news is that Levis has been able to get through two straight practices without any issues. Barring any setbacks, Levis should suit up for the Week 17 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Fantasy managers should consider Levis a low-end QB2 for this game.

Will Levis A Full-Go On Wednesday

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis (ankle) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. Levis isn't pain-free after spraining his ankle in Week 15, but he's feeling much better and is on track to make another start in Week 17 versus the Houston Texans on Sunday. Veteran Ryan Tannehill threw for over 200 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in the Week 16 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, but he's set to go back to holding a clipboard on the sidelines if Levis is cleared to play this weekend. Since making his NFL debut in Week 8, Levis has gone 147-for-249 for 1,792 yards, eight touchdowns and four interceptions in eight games started. He's shown flashes of being the team's franchise QB but needs to get more consistent. Levis will be a low-end QB2 option in superflex leagues against Houston if he plays on Sunday.

Titans Expect Will Levis To Practice Wednesday

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel expects rookie quarterback Will Levis (ankle) to be able to practice on Wednesday. Levis suffered a right-ankle sprain in Week 15 and did not take part in the Week 16 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The 24-year-old first-year signal-caller is likely to be limited in practice on Wednesday, but it would be a good step toward a possible return this Sunday in a rematch against the division-rival Houston Texans on the road. And if Levis is cleared to play later this week, he's likely to take the starting gig back from veteran Ryan Tannehill. In his first start since Week 6, Tannehill went 18-for-26 for 152 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Levis will be a low-end QB2 option for fantasy managers if he returns in Week 17.

Dec 27, 2023 3:47 PM EST

Will Levis Will Try To Practice Wednesday

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis (ankle) is expected to try to practice on Wednesday. Levis missed his team's Week 16 loss to the Seattle Seahawks with an ankle sprain but he is apparently going to try to get back onto the field for a Week 17 showdown against the Houston Texans. Head coach Mike Vrabel told reporters that Levis is feeling better this week. That being said, Levis' participation in practice over the next three days will be a good indication as to whether he will be able to take the field this weekend. Stay tuned.

Will Levis Ruled Out For Week 16

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of the Week 16 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. As expected, Levis will take a seat while he continues to nurse an ankle issue. The rookie signal-caller wasn't able to practice all week, so it's not a surprise to see him sitting out in this game. Veteran quarterback Ryan Tannehill will take over under center for Sunday's game. The change of quarterbacks shouldn't have much of an impact on this offense. Possibly, a small downgrade because Levis is able to do a little more with his legs. Fantasy managers desperate for a streaming option should look at Tannehill as a possible QB2.

Dec 24, 2023 11:53 AM EST

Will Levis Unlikely To Play In Week 16

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis (ankle) is not expected to suit up for the Week 16 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. The rookie quarterback suffered an ankle injury during last week's loss to the Houston Texans. He missed most of practice this week until getting in a limited session on Friday. It's unlikely that the Titans push Levis onto the field when he's clearly not 100 percent healthy. That being said, Ryan Tannehill should be under center for favorable matchup against the Seahawks secondary. Tannehill should have some QB2 appeal for this weekend's slate.

Dec 23, 2023 9:02 PM EST

Will Levis Questionable For Week 16

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis (ankle) is questionable to play against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. He was trending in the wrong direction after missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday, so it's somewhat promising to learn that the Titans have left the door open for him to play. With that said, the rookie's relatively mediocre stats this season make it difficult to trust him in fantasy football. The same goes for Ryan Tannehill, who would draw the start if Levis is unable to suit up.

Dec 22, 2023 2:08 PM EST

Will Levis Sits Out Of Practice Again

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis (ankle) missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Veteran Ryan Tannehill got extensive work with the offense once again and is in line to start this weekend against the Seattle Seahawks if Levis is forced out due to his high-ankle sprain. Tannehill hasn't played since Oct. 15 against the Baltimore Ravens in London, so he's likely to be a bit rusty if he gets the starting nod under center. As long as game script provides, expect the Titans to lean on their ground game as much as possible. All signs are pointing toward Levis missing the Week 16 game, and he could miss additional time as well. Tannehill didn't look great in a starting role earlier this year before he injured his ankle, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect much from him if he returns to lead the Titans offense this Sunday.

Will Levis Dealing With High-Ankle Sprain

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis (ankle) is dealing with a high-ankle sprain, according to a source. It's still unknown whether the Titans will need him to sit out, and if so, for how long. High-ankle sprains can keep players out for up to three to five weeks, so Levis is definitely in danger of missing the team's next game in Week 16 against the Seattle Seahawks. Head coach Mike Vrabel compared Levis' sprain to the two ankle sprains Ryan Tannehill dealt with last year. Tannehill initially missed two games in 2022 before eventually being shut down late in the season. Fantasy managers that have been using the 24-year-old rookie in two-QB leagues should be looking for a replacement this week. If Levis misses any time, the Titans will choose between Tannehill and Malik Willis to start under center.

Will Levis Dealing With Sprained Ankle

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis (ankle), who suffered a lower-body injury late in the Week 15 overtime loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday, is believed to have suffered a sprained right ankle, according to a source. He will undergo an MRI exam on Monday. "I'm all right. It could have been a lot worse," Levis said after the game. The 24-year-old was twisted up as he was tackled but apparently his injury isn't as bad as it looked, and he was able to leave the field under his own power. Still, Levis could be in danger of sitting out in Week 16 against the Seattle Seahawks, depending on the results of his MRI and how much he can do in practice this week. If Levis cannot play this weekend, both Ryan Tannehill and Malik Willis would be candidates to start under center for the Titans.
