Who Should I Start? DJ Moore or Garrett Wilson

Chicago Bears wide receiver D.J. Moore is off to a sluggish start in 2025. Since the arrival of quarterback Caleb Williams, Moore has averaged just 56 yards per game with six touchdowns across 19 games. The chemistry between the two has yet to click, and Moore's role has clearly diminished with second-year receiver Rome Odunze emerging as the Bears' WR1. That said, Week 3 offers a get-right opportunity. The Dallas Cowboys allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to wide receivers in 2024 and just gave up a monster performance to Malik Nabers (167 yards, two TDs) in Week 2. While Moore's ceiling is capped by Odunze's rise, the matchup keeps him firmly in play as a high-end WR3 with upside this week.

Fantasy managers may have been worried that New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson would be quiet in Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor leading the offense with Justin Fields out with a concussion. Wilson eased fantasy managers' minds by catching 10 of his 13 targets for 84 yards and his second touchdown of the year in a 29-27 loss at Raymond James Stadium. The 25-year-old led the Jets in all receiving categories in this one by a wide margin, with no other pass-catcher seeing more than six targets or catching more than four passes. Wilson's touchdown hookup with Taylor was an 11-yard reception in the fourth quarter. Even though the Jets are 0-3 early on, Wilson remains a must-start in fantasy lineups heading into a Week 4 matchup against the winless Miami Dolphins. Wilson has 21 catches for 229 yards and two scores through three weeks.
